London Stansted Passengers Discover The Delights Of Turin

22 Nov 2011

London Stansted joined forces with Ryanair and the Turin Tourist Board last week to showcase the Christmas markets and unique skiing opportunities on offer in and around the city of Turin.

The promotion gave passengers travelling through terminal the chance to talk to tourism experts about the city - often referred to as the capital of the Alps – and find out about all the activities planned during the festive season.

Paul Haynes, Airline, Route and Marketing Manager at London Stansted Airport, said: “Italy has always been well connected from London Stansted, and by working with Ryanair and the Turin Tourist Board our passengers were given a unique insight in to what the city of Turin has to offer.

“The promotion enabled passengers to talk directly to the Tourist Board and find out from the experts all about the area and even win a weekend break there.”

Chiara Crovella from the Turin Tourist Board, said: “Turin is a wonderful destination, from the magic of the Christmas markets to the excitement of Alpine Skiing in the Alps of Alta Val Susa, there really is plenty on offer for everyone.”
