Pilates Expert Helps Airport Staff Get Fit For Business

19 Jan 2009

Celebrity Pilates expert, Lynne Robinson, showed Stansted Airport workers the benefits of a healthy body yesterday (19 January 2009).

As part of the national "Fit for Business" scheme, BAA Stansted teamed up with Great Hadham's Perfect Fit Pilates to offer staff the chance to find out more about this gentle form of exercise.

"Pilates is a form of exercise that everyone can do regardless of what job you do at the airport. It's about getting in touch with your body, focusing your mind and increasing concentration. "

"Improving the well-being of their staff, companies can enhance their business performance and reduce stress - a healthy workforce is a happy workforce," said Lynne Robinson, the world's top-selling pilates author.

As well as her teaching work, Lynne Robinson lectures at leading medical and sports conferences and appears regularly on national television and radio.

Fit for Business is the National Recognition Scheme for Workplace Health designed specifically to support organisations looking to embed workplace health and well-being into their company strategy.
