Stansted's Community Success Shortlisted For Top Award

Stansted Airport has been shortlisted for a prestigious award celebrating its outstanding work in the local community.

The UK’s third busiest airport has been nominated for The Community Impact  prize at the Business in the Community (BITC) East of England Awards, which takes place on June 14 at Hengrave Hall, Bury St Edmunds.

Marcella M’Rabety, Stansted Airport’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager, said:

“We are absolutely delighted that Stansted has been nominated for this Business in the Community Award.  We take our responsibilities to our local communities we serve very seriously and this nomination acknowledges the dedication, support and commitment of the airport and its staff.

“The event is a fantastic celebration of business success and achievement in our region, and all of us at Stansted Airport would like to wish all the nominees the very best of luck.”

The BITC awards provide recognition for companies that are integrating responsible business practice and delivering positive impacts on the environment, in the marketplace, in the workplace and in the community.
