If you're looking for a relaxing trip in picture perfect surroundings then holidays to Dalaman are for you. The region is littered with natural beauty, lovely seaside towns and villages, and quality resorts. Dalaman itself is actually a relatively small agricultural town, considering the size and popularity of its airport at least. Most visitors tend to head straight from the airport on to one of the many resorts, of which there is a wonderful selection catering to all manner of styles. Dalaman Airport serves the Marmaris area, which is one of the most popular spots on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Here there’s a great choice of accommodation, and the opportunity to simply relax on the beach all day or get involved with activities such as boat tours. There is also a vibrant nightlife for those looking to lengthen their days with a couple of drinks in the evening. One of the major draws with holidays to Dalaman is of course the superb climate. Average temperatures do not drop below 10ºC even during the winter months, while it soars to the mid-twenties over summer. Long sunny days, warm sea temperatures and little rain mean that the region is ideally suited for kicking back on the beach or by the pool and recharging the batteries. If you’d like a little more action then of course there’s things like watersports, or hiking along the Lycian Way, to keep you entertained - no matter how you plan to spend your time holidays to Dalaman from Stansted are a great option.
