Flights from Stansted to Dundee take just over an hour and a half, representing a huge saving of time, when compared to travelling by road or rail. There is generally a strong availability of direct services throughout the year, although booking in advance is advisable to secure travel on your preferred dates.
There are usually two departure times available with Stansted to Dundee flights, the first being just after 9am to see you arrive just before 11am, and the second being at 7pm, which means you’ll arrive just after 8.30pm. Departure times on the return leg tend to be 7am and just before 5pm.
Dundee Airport is located right on the northern shore of the Firth of Tay, less than two miles from the city centre. The airport’s central location means there are no public transportation links available for completing an onward journey.
There is a taxi rank located directly outside the terminal building, and a ride to the city centre should be inexpensive, and take less than five minutes. A trip to the nearest train station, Dundee Central, should take just over five minutes; which can be used to reach destinations such as Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
The car hire facilities are provided by Arnold Clark and Europcar. Europcar operate from an information desk inside the terminal building, while Arnold Clark operate a meet and greet service for their customers.
