Direct flights from Stansted to Las Vegas take just over 10 and a half hours. The route doesn't offer huge availability, so it’s advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment. A genuine city that never sleeps, fly from London to Las Vegas any time of year for an exhilarating trip away.
McCarran International Airport lies around five miles south of Vegas’ downtown area, with a range of options for completing a journey to the city centre, including buses, taxis and shuttles. A number of taxi firms operate from the airport, with the taxi rank of Terminal 1 located outside door exits 1-4, with Terminal 3’s found on Level Zero; on both the west and east side of the building.
There are buses that serve both terminals, with the number 108, 109 and Westcliff Airport Express available from Terminal 1, and the Westcliff Express and Centennial Express routes running from Terminal 3. Both terminals also offer facilities for organising a group shuttle, which can be a good way to keep travel costs down without taking public transport.
The McCarran Rent-A-Car Centre is found three miles from the airport, a short ride which can be completed by shuttle bus. Rental companies such as Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and Thrifty operate from here, providing vehicles for those wishing to have their own transport.
Alternatively, arrive in style on the strip with a limousine; with chauffeur firms offering sedans, SUVs and stretch limos for the trip downtown.
