Key information

Make sure you know which terminal you will arrive and depart from so that you can plan your route through the airport. If you are still unsure, please take time to view airline and terminal information.
If you are connecting from an international flight to a UK or Ireland flight you need to pass through passport control/immigration. If you are connecting from a UK or Ireland flight to an international flight you will need to pass through special immigration control points where you may be asked to show your passport.
Always check that you have enough time, especially as you have to pass through security before reaching your departures terminal. You may also want to leave time for a spot of shopping, wining or dining.
Departure gates will be shown on the information screens an hour before the flight is due to leave – please watch for this information and leave plenty of time to reach your gate.
Connecting passengers can make full use of the airport’s facilities which include famous brands at tax-free prices.
Shower facilities are available in Urban Retreat at Terminal 1 (Terminal 2 passengers can use these facilities as it is just a short walk away). A shower will cost £15 and for this you get a towel, a brush, soap and shampoo plus complimentary teas and coffee. You will also be able to use the lounge with its futuristic massage chairs. Baby change facilities are in all terminals and any restaurant or cafe will happily heat a baby bottle for you, while most also provide high chairs and children’s menus.
