The Piccadilly Line connects Heathrow with central London. There are three underground stations – one for Terminals 1, 2, 3 and one each for Terminals 4 and 5. Journey time to central London is about 50 minutes, depending on the exact destination.

Heathrow's underground stations have step-free access to the platforms but many other stations do not.

If you are mobility-impaired we recommend you check your route beforehand with London Underground.

Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 underground station is located below the airport's central bus station. On foot it's five to ten minutes from Terminals 1 and 2, and ten to 15 minutes from Terminal 3. There are help buttons on either side of the up escalators to call station staff, who will take you to a lift to reach the ticket office level. From here there are lifts to take you to ground level and the central bus station.

Heathrow Terminal 4 underground station is below the terminal. If you are a wheelchair user, you will need to seek assistance from station staff to pass through the trolley barriers.

If you need assistance in order to reach check in, there is a help point on the left side as you leave the station concourse.
