Stansted Airport Charity Committee

The Stansted Airport Charity Committee donates money to good causes within the local community (within a 20 mile radius of Stansted Airport). The money donated by the committee is raised from passengers' and staff's unwanted foreign currency which is collected through donation boxes inside the terminal.

• £100 minimum for individual requests for sponsorship for sporting events.  The final amount will be judged on merit by the committee.
• Elderly and animal charities will be given due consideration.
• Pre-school nurseries, junior sports clubs, brownies, guides, cubs and scouts are given consideration depending on the Airport Charity’s financial situation.
