Government policy
In its 2003 Air Transport White Paper the Government stated that Stansted should make full use of its existing single runway. This policy was reiterated in the Government’s White Paper Progress Report in December 2006.

Master plan
We published an Interim Master Plan in May 2006, which details all of our growth plans to 2015.
