The purpose of the Report of Consultation is to:

• Explain in detail the process and methodology of the Generation 2 Consultation.
• Summarise the views that emerged from the detailed analysis of the written responses. Two supplementary reports have been produced for BAA by AviaSolutions and Populus.
• Respond to certain views that, whilst not directed to helping us either to choose between options or to improve them, were frequently expressed.
