Draft Final Master Plan (Sep 2008)
Now that BAA has completed its extensive consultation on plans for the development of the second runway, and has applied for planning permission, it is now in a position to publish the Draft Final Master Plan for the airport. This sets out BAA’s long term proposals for the development of Stansted as a two-runway airport.
In accordance with the Air Transport White Paper this draft Final Master Plan considers and describes the proposed development of the two runway airport in the years 2015 and 2030.
The draft status of this Final Master Plan reflects the fact that permission for the second runway and associated developments has not yet been granted. Once the decision has been made, this Final Master Plan will be updated.
