Dual till – A method for setting a price cap for airport charges which (unlike the single till) takes account only of the assets, costs and revenues relating to the aeronautical activities of an airport operator and relevant companies in its group; and ignores assets, costs and revenues relating to an airport’s commercial activities
Generation 1 – The name of the project to make better use of the existing runway
G1 Transport Assessment – Current best practice recommends that a Transport Assessment (TA) is submitted as part of any planning application wherein the proposed development is considered likely to generate a significant amount of traffic
Generation 2 – The name of the project to deliver a second runway at Stansted Airport
