Runway options

Several different options were considered for Stansted's proposed second runway leading up to our March 2008 planning application.

This interactive map illustrates the original runway options that were the subject of our consultation between 9 December 2005 and 24 March 2006 before we made our choice.

This includes option A in mixed mode, which at the time was our preferred option and on which we invited views and comments.
