Stansted to central London

Stansted has a fantastic choice of transport links to central London, with options to suit all budgets, timetables and destinations.

By train

The Stansted Express runs every 15 minutes and reaches London Liverpool Street in 46 minutes. Trains depart from Stansted Airport rail station, situated directly below the terminal. London Underground connections are available at Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale (on the Stansted Express line).

By bus or coach

Fast, frequent coaches run from Stansted to London destinations including Liverpool Street, Victoria, Stratford, Baker Street and other central London destinations. With fares starting at just a few pounds, this can be a really cost-effective way to travel. All services call at the airport coach station, directly opposite the terminal.

By taxi

Stansted Airport taxi operator 24 / 7 operates a reservation desk on the international arrivals concourse and there's a courtesy phone in the UK and Ireland baggage reclaim hall.
