Head to Palazzo Senatorio to admire the stunning 12th century building, and tuck into a brioche gelato (Sicilian ice cream served inside a brioche bun) while you people-watch. Or if you’re feeling more adventurous, take the nearby cable car the 10-minute ride up to the top of Mount Erice where you can visit the Castello di Venere (Castle of Venus) and soak up the views as the sun goes down.
