About the station

Almost 25 years old, Stansted Airport Train Station has stood the test of time as one of the quickest and easiest ways to get to and from the airport. It has three platforms, two dedicated to the Stansted Express services that connect us to central London and one for other services. It’s super-easy to get between the station and the airport as the station is directly underneath the airport.

By using the lifts, escalators and ramps to transport your luggage, it can take as little as two minutes to walk between the station and the terminal. Tickets can either be bought online or from the ticket machines and rail information desk located in the station. However, prices can be steep on the day of travel so save money by pre-booking your train tickets online.
