About Olsztyn Mazury

Szczytno

When flying into Olsztyn-Mazury Regional Airport, the nearest town and best place to stay is Szczytno in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It's an appealing rural base to discover key Polish cities such as Warsaw and Gdansk, which are both around two to three hours away by car. Just a short 10km journey from the airport, the area was once occupied by the Prussians. Its significant megalithic monuments and tombs are the only examples to be found in the Warmia-Masuria region and proves how the area was one of utmost religious intrigue.
