Primera Air to launch direct London Stansted to USA flights in 2018
Primera Air is to open a new base at London Stansted Airport and start direct flights to New York, Boston and Toronto. From April 2018, the airline will offer daily services to New York’s Newark Airport and from May 2018 four weekly flights to Boston Logan Airport and three weekly flights to Toronto.
Flights to all three destinations are now on sale with prices starting from £149 one-way inclusive of all taxes, fees and charges.
WOW air to launch new service to Iceland and connecting USA destinations, including JFK
WOW air is to launch a new service between London Stansted and Reykjavik that will open up a range of onward connections to popular North American destinations – including New York, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles – from its Icelandic hub.
Daily flights from London Stansted to Keflavik International Airport will begin at the end of April 2018, with fares to Iceland starting from £29.99 one way and fares for New York via Reykjavik from £99 one way.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays announce expanded winter programme from London Stansted
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced their winter flights and holidays programme from London Stansted Airport for next year, with over 450,000 seats on sale to 18 winter sun, city and ski destinations for Winter 18/19 – including three new winter routes to Antalya, Larnaca and Nice.
Air Corsica to launch first UK flights at London Stansted from 2018
Air Corsica is to launch its first ever UK service when it begins flying from London Stansted Airport in summer 2018. The flights to Corsica, which begin on May 3rd (to November 4th), will operate up to nine times a week and serve three of the island’s airports – Bastia, Ajacio and Figari.
Fares start from £49 each way, which includes a free hold bag of up to 23kg and a free cabin bag of up to 12kg plus complimentary on-board snacks and drinks. Free seat allocation is also provided.
On November 2, 2017 Greek carrier Air Mediterranean will commence its first UK scheduled service, from London Stansted Airport to Athens. The service will operate up to four times a week using the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
Fares start from £135 return to the Greek capital and include allocated seating, a 23kg baggage allowance and complimentary inflight meals.
